NotdecidedbymoneyLaunch

Every ranking here was voted, not bought.

Notdecidedbymoney is a board where position is decided by free votes. These are the rules that make that sentence true, written so you can check them.

  1. 1One vote per person, per product

Signing in with Google is how a person is counted once. We keep the verified address and nothing else from it, we never show it, and it exists so that a vote means one human rather than one browser. Voting again removes your vote rather than adding a second.

  2. 2No position on this site is for sale

Not the top of a board, not a featured slot, not a topic page, not the order of anything. A paid tier is coming and it will not change that: it buys a mention in the weekly mail, a supporter marker, and your own numbers. The code enforces the rest. The file that decides the order of this board fails its tests if the words for money appear in it at all.

  3. 3Launches go onto tomorrow's board

Never today's. A product that appeared at four in the afternoon would be competing against things that had been collecting votes since midnight, and its position would measure the clock rather than the product.

  4. 4A day closes at midnight UTC and stops moving

The order is written down at that point and becomes the day's result. Votes cast on an old launch still count toward its total and still show on its page, but they do not rewrite a finished day.

  5. 5A person reads every submission

Before it reaches a board. We reject things that are not products, things that are already on the site, and things whose page will not load. A rejection comes with the reason, and it is visible only to the maker who submitted it.

  6. 6The link to your product is a real one

Followed, not nofollow, and not a redirect that hides where it goes. A place on this board was earned by votes, so the link that comes with it is the kind a real recommendation carries. Nobody paid for it and nobody can.

  7. 7We remove things, and say when we have

Abuse, vote manipulation, and products that turn out to be something other than what they claimed. A removed launch stops appearing anywhere it ranked. It is not deleted from history, because pretending it never happened is its own kind of dishonesty: every removal is listed here, with the date and the reason.

  8. 8None of this is a review

Nobody here tested anything. A high position means a number of people pressed a button, and that is the entire claim. Every page on this site says so, including the ones an assistant reads.

The other half of this company runs decidedbymoney.com, where every position genuinely is for sale and the site says so on every page. The two exist to make the difference obvious. Neither one pretends to be the other.
