ScreenFine is the iOS screen time app that locks your apps

ScreenFine sets a daily limit on the apps you choose and locks them at the OS level the moment you hit it. It uses Apple's Family Controls, so this is not a popup you can swipe away. The app simply will not open.

Getting back in costs effort instead of money. Redeem time with 25 camera-verified pushups, 1,000 steps, or a logged workout. The camera only runs while you are redeeming, entirely on-device, and nothing is stored.

Streaks track the days you stayed under your limit, and AI villains turn up to taunt you when you go over. Going over never costs money.

iOS 16 and up. $1 a week after a 7-day free trial, billed through Apple.

From the maker

I was averaging over five hours a day and unlocking my phone around ninety-six times, and every screen time tool I tried was a popup I dismissed without reading. I wanted the limit to be real, and I wanted getting past it to cost me pushups rather than another tap.
